October is stewardship month!
Spiritual Growth at St. Andrew’s is about deepening faith, exploring questions, and nurturing a life with God that is both personal and communal. Through these ministries, we offer opportunities for prayer, study, and reflection—whether that’s in worship, small groups, children’s formation, or adult learning. Our focus is on creating spaces where people can bring their whole selves—doubts, discoveries, and devotion—and grow in their journey with Christ.
We’re always looking for people who want to get involved—whether that’s helping put programs or events together, facilitating conversations, or simply suggesting a great idea for a forum, book, or study. If that sounds like you, please reach out—we’d love to hear from you.
A weekly gathering that connects faith to everyday life through guest speakers, open conversation, and thoughtful reflection. Each session offers something new—whether it’s exploring Scripture, learning from parishioners and outside voices, or tackling current issues through the lens of faith. The Sunday Forum is a space for curiosity and dialogue, where no question is off-limits and everyone’s perspective is valued.

Our book groups create space to read, reflect, and talk together about works that spark both imagination and conversation. The selections range from novels and memoirs to theology and spirituality, always with an eye toward how stories can deepen our faith and help us see the world through new perspectives. Gatherings are casual and welcoming, with time for honest dialogue and plenty of room for differing viewpoints.

Episcopal 101 is an introduction to the life, worship, and history of the Episcopal Church—perfect for newcomers, those considering membership, or anyone who wants to revisit the foundations of their faith. Sessions explore everything from how we worship and what we believe, to the ways we live out our faith in community and service. It’s a space for honest questions, shared stories, and learning together, with no prior knowledge required.
Bible Study is a chance to slow down with Scripture, listen closely, and discover how ancient words continue to speak into our lives today. Together we read, ask questions, and share insights—sometimes uncovering new perspectives, sometimes simply sitting with mystery. It’s less about having all the “right answers” and more about growing in faith through conversation and community.
Each week, Matt Hickcox shares the upcoming scripture passage by email with anyone who’d like to read along. Participants are welcome to reflect quietly on their own, or to join the conversation by replying with thoughts and insights. There’s no pressure to comment—just an open invitation to engage with the Gospel in community or in private reflection. To be added to the weekly email list, contact Matt.
