Greetings! We hope you will find what you are looking for on our website, and we hope to meet you soon, in person, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Ayer, Massachusetts, by the railroad tracks.
This parish, founded in 1889, worships in the original church structure built in 1892 and seeks to be a warm and friendly Christ-centered congregation. Learn more about our history here.
We welcome folks from the town of Ayer and several surrounding communities. We work to provide a spiritual home to all who are seeking to know the presence of God in their lives and to create a community where people feel loved and valued. We are committed to the faith and practices of our Baptismal Covenant: seeking and serving Christ in all persons, striving for justice and peace among all people, respecting the dignity of every human being, and loving our neighbor as ourselves.
Therefore, no matter how diverse the background or makeup of any who may read this, we say, “Welcome.” Come and see, and perhaps decide to stay. Because you are unique, you have something to share with the rest of us. There is a place for you here.
We are a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, comprising the eastern third of the state. Thus, we are also part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, whose center of unity is found in the ministry of the Archbishop of Canterbury. We collaborate with other faith communities in the work of justice and other social concerns that affect the lives of all of us.
Again, welcome to all of you who visit us first on this website. May God richly bless you and assist you on your journey of faith.
Please fill out our welcome card below if you'd like us to be in touch about how you can connect and learn more!
