Lectors and Intercessors

Lectors and Intercessors help bring the Word of God and the prayers of the people to life during worship. Lectors read the appointed scripture passages, offering their voice as a vessel for the ancient and sacred texts that shape our faith. Intercessors lead the Prayers of the People, lifting up the hopes, concerns, and thanksgivings of our community before God.

This ministry is open to all who feel called to proclaim the Word or lead prayer, and training is provided. It’s a powerful way to participate more deeply in the spiritual rhythm of our services. Whether you’re drawn to reading scripture or to guiding prayer, your voice helps us worship more fully—together.
