"St. Andrew's Church, Ayer, Mass."

This postcard is a colorized version of a black and white postcard depicting the identical streetscape. The St. Andrew's church (right) and vicarage (middle) are shown accurately. However, this image was heavily airbrushed and many details removed. The electric light pole with street signs at the corner of Tannery and Forest Streets, along with the wires, is missing. Most interesting, the steeple on the Baptist Church (far left) has been shortened down to the bell tower.
