until the next Annual Meeting

Parish
Calling Lists Distributed

Linda
distributed a parish calling list broken down into sections of ten
parishioners’ names to a block

One block
was assigned to each Vestry member (with the exception of Sue Hildreth) to call
and invite the parishioners to church to meet Joyce over the next few weeks
a.
Names of
choir members, Vestry members and Search Committee members were eliminated from
the calling list since they would be in attendance during Joyce’s first few
weeks
III.
Joyce’s
Contract
A.
Dick
contacted the Rev. Cynthia Hubbard regarding the question of term limits of a
Rector’s contract which was brought up at the last Vestry meeting
1.
Cynthia
explained that the contract between a Rector and the parish is like a marriage
and has no specific term limits on it.
B.
Motion to
accept Joyce’s contract (given the explanation of term limits) was approved by
an 7 (yes) to 1 (no) to 1 (abstention) vote
