Replacement
A.
Roof leaking
around one of the chimneys

Asked two
roofers for advise and bids
1.
Both said we
could do the repairs piecemeal but that the roof had really reached the point
where it should be totally replaced
a.
Bid One for
$8500 from Jenkins Construction
i.
Had replaced
the roof on the Parish Hall and Church some years back under Al Colburn’s
direction
ii.
His license
had expired but we have been told that he has rectified that
b.
Bid Two for
$9700 from Andrew Woolfrey Roofing
C.
Motion was
made and unanimously approved to award the replacement of the roof to Jenkins
contingent on the receipt of his license renewal and Certificate of Insurance

ACTION
ITEM: Linda to contact Jamie Jenkins
with the results of the vote and schedule work to be done
II.
Withdrawal
of Funds from Investments
A.
Sue had
requested that we withdraw $6500 from Investments to be used as a buffer for
the payment of one month’s payroll expenses.
B.
In addition,
Outreach requested that $1250 be given to Young Life to use towards camp
scholarships.
1.
Since the
Outreach Rummage Sale had brought in $716, only $534 is being requested to be
withdrawn from Investments
C.
Thirdly, we
owe three months worth towards our past due assessment to the diocese so a
request for $1900 (April, May, and June at $633/month) was made
D.
A motion was
made by Marianne and seconded by Don to withdraw $17,500 (rounded up) from
Investments and unanimously accepted to be used as follows:
1.
$6500 for a
month’s payroll (buffer)
2.
$ 534 for Young Life
3.
$1900 for
past due assessment
4.
$8500 for
the roof replacement
