Music & Choir

Choir and Musical Director: Daniel Francois

What does it mean to be in a choir?

It means an organized group that follows a musical director, choirmaster, and/or conductor. It means a commitment to each other to choose to collaborate using our voices to glorify God

When asked recently what choir means to me, a choir member responded it means joy. It means leadership within the congregation. It means a chance to escape into music while expressing a different way for worship.

St. Andrew's offers many opportunities to join together as an active small group within the St. Andrew's community. The St. Andrew's Choir is made up entirely of volunteers. Occasionally we call in support for special occasions. Members of the choir meet weekly on Thursday nights in the church from September through  June each year to prepare musical offerings to share with the larger community.

If you'd like to join the choir, contact Daniel Francois through the office to learn more. If you think the long-term commitment may be too much for you and you'd like to sing for just a particular season, say for Christmas or Easter, that's okay too! Reach out to Daniel to learn more.
